FOUNDATIONS CHILDCARE MINISTRY

Many within our church have been active in preparing for the opening of Foundations Childcare Ministry this summer. Our trustees have completed renovations to various areas and several classrooms, our board of overseers have written policies and procedures for the ministry, and we are very excited for the opportunity to offer daycare and preschool to families in and around Washington, serving children from 6 weeks through pre-school age. If you have questions about Foundations Childcare Ministry, we encourage you to talk with Lisa Hinderliter, Amy Hamm, Kim Conder, or Tim Stoner. We also encourage you to pray for this ministry and to spread the word throughout our community – especially among friends and family members in need of childcare. Inquiries can also be made through our website; winfmc.org/foundations.

ACCEPTING APPPLCATIONS & RESUMES

Foundations Childcare Ministry is currently accepting applications and resumes for a full-time Childcare Ministry Director. The Director serves as a representative of the Washington Free Methodist Church and ministers in a pastoral role in the daycare, in the church, and in the community. For more information, or to apply, visit winfmc.org/foundationsjobs

WORSHIP AND COOKOUT IN THE PARK

Mark your calendar for worship in the park on Sunday, June 16th, at 10:30. We will – once again – be worshiping at Eastside Park and enjoying a community cookout following our time of worship. Everyone in the surrounding community is welcome, so please extend the invitation. Donations for food that are needed: burgers, individual bags of chips, soda, water, ice cream (individual or sandwich). Monetary donations are acceptable as well. Volunteers are also needed to assist with the event. Please contact David Hooten if you can help.

BETHEL MALL – 25 YEARS

This year, Bethel South & Bethel North Campuses are preparing for their 25th year of helping children in the community prepare for the beginning of the school year. Our church has been asked to help with this year’s supplies by providing 100 packs of Crayola Washable Markers (10 count pack). Please have your donations here, at the church by Sunday, June 30th so they can be delivered to Bethel Church.
